Milling cutter and holders are a part of cutting tools in milling machines. Cutting tooth (inserts or heads) are attached to a main unit (holder), which is then attached to a machine tool such as a machining center with a tool holder (chuck and the like) to cut metals, etc., by rotating. One type has cutting tips to be replaced, and the other has a head (end) section to be entirely replaced; some of the former type come with an arbor (a shank section) while others have a separate arbor.
